Kelli Clancy

Kelli Clancy owns Legacy Pool & Spa, a Sacramento-area pool company working in construction, renovation, repair and service. A second-generation pool professional and licensed California pool contractor, she brings maintenance experience into the decisions that shape a new build or remodel.

Clancy is also a co-founder of Pool Girl Pro, the women-led training and networking organization she established with Janet Reed and Deb Martin. Its work creates opportunities for pool professionals to learn technical skills, share field experience and build connections across the industry.

A regular Pool Magazine contributor, Clancy writes about the business and practical realities of working in pools. Her articles cover warranty service, manufacturer relationships, financial independence through pool service and the transition into construction. In her account of a first pool build, she followed the project from design through waterproofing and finishing, sharing the lessons that accompanied each stage.
