New Atlantic City Waterpark Opening To The Public July 7th

The project is collaborative effort between Atlantic City-based SOSH Architects and Martin Aquatic Design & Engineering of Orlando, which officially commenced construction last winter.

With more than 317,000 gallons of water flowing through its attractions, ISLAND Waterpark boasts an exhilarating array of features. Adventurous souls can brave the 11 curvy slides, such as the Electric Eel, Sonic Serpent, and Barracuda Blaster. For younger visitors, Slide Island offers five waterslides designed with their safety and enjoyment in mind. The park also introduces the thrilling Tidal Racers, three slides that offer a competitive twist.

Water enthusiasts will find a variety of unique attractions at ISLAND Waterpark. The Wild Wave FlowRider surf simulator, covering an impressive 1,000 square feet, will not only offer lessons but also host surfing tournaments. Visitors can marvel at the stunning Blue Cascade Waterfall or book the 30-foot-tall Indoor Tree House for private parties. An Adventure Pool awaits those interested in water sports, while the Island Drift Lazy River offers a relaxing escape. Families with young children will appreciate the Kids Cove, featuring interactive water activities designed specifically for them.

What sets ISLAND Waterpark apart from others is its dedication to providing an enjoyable experience for adults as well. Six bars throughout the park offer craft beers, curated wines, and signature cocktails, ensuring a delightful refreshment for everyone. Paradise Adult Island, a spacious 10,000-square-foot area exclusively for adults, features an enticing pool with a swim-up bar that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. Guests can enjoy a range of additional amenities, including Peloton bikes, manicure stations, chair massages, workspaces, and VIP cabanas. As the sun sets, the waterpark undergoes a transformation into an exclusive nightlife venue for adults—a first of its kind.

The retractable roof can be utilized for captivating projection displays, creating an immersive atmosphere. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean and boardwalk while suspended high above the park on the 1,000-foot Coconut Zero-Gravity Coaster. Thrill-seekers can also soar through the air on the 300-foot-long RipTide Zip Line.

Tower Investments CEO and Showboat owner, Bart Blatstein, expressed his excitement about the new waterpark, stating, “When people see this, they will be blown away; it is truly like entering a tropical paradise, and the best part is that people—both kids and adults—will be able to enjoy it all year round.”

To make this aquatic paradise accessible to everyone, ISLAND Waterpark offers a range of admission rates. Daytime general admission starts at $89, while Twilight Admission from 4 pm to 8 pm begins at $69. For those seeking the ultimate experience, the All-Access VIP admission, priced from $119, grants entry to Paradise Adult Island, Bliss Pool, and the swim-up bar. The park also extends a $10 discount to military personnel and Atlantic City’s first responders. Children under the age of three are admitted for free.
