Coverings’ Return to Orlando Marks First of Three Consecutive Shows at Orange County Convention Center
Aug. 24, 2026 – ORLANDO – Coverings (www.coverings.com), North America’s largest international tile and stone event, will return to Orlando, Florida, April 6-9, 2027, at the Orange County Convention Center, celebrating the beginning of three consecutive years during which the show will be hosted in Orlando. Coverings 2027 will bring together professionals from across the tile, stone, design and construction industries to explore new products and trends, build valuable connections, and benefit from solutions focused on business growth and profitability. The show has also opened submissions for the 2027 Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards and nominations for the 2027 Coverings Rock Stars program.
“Coverings is where the entire tile and stone ecosystem—from distributors, dealers, retailers and installers to architects, designers, builders, remodelers and fabricators—comes together to connect and form new relationships with industry peers and find the latest tile, stone and machinery product innovations,” said Jamie Rich, Coverings’ managing director. “Bringing Coverings back to Orlando for 2027, and continuing that momentum through the 2028 and 2029 shows, creates an exciting multi-year opportunity to unite the global tile and stone community in one of the country’s most dynamic event destinations.”
Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards
The CID Awards, sponsored by Stone World and TileLetter, honor exceptional achievements in the design and installation of ceramic tile and natural stone in residential, institutional and commercial projects. Architects, builders, contractors, designers, distributors, installers, retailers and other professionals across the design, construction and related industries are encouraged to submit their projects through the official submission portal by Dec. 3, 2026.
Eligible projects must be completed between January 2025 and December 2026. Entrants may submit up to three projects, and each project may be entered in more than one category as long as it meets the relevant criteria. Projects that demonstrate an original or unusual use of materials, incorporate an innovative technology, reflect installation excellence, or use notably sustainable materials and practices are of particular interest. Entries will be judged separately on tile and stone installation and design across 11 distinct categories: Commercial Ceramic Tile Design, Residential Ceramic Tile Design, Commercial Ceramic Tile Installation, Residential Ceramic Tile Installation, Commercial Stone Design, Residential Stone Design, Commercial Stone Installation, Residential Stone Installation, Artistic Design, Artistic Installation and Other.
The 2027 CID Award winners will be celebrated at Coverings 2027 during the CID Awards Ceremony & Reception. Winning projects will be featured onsite at Coverings 2027 and receive recognition through the Coverings website, social media channels, publications and other media coverage. Winners will also receive a $200 gift card to help cover travel expenses to Orlando.
The Coverings Rock Stars, an Emerging Leaders Program, celebrates rising professionals who are helping shape the future of the tile and stone industry. The program is now in its 13th year and recognizes professionals under the age of 35 for their industry involvement, career growth, leadership development, community and volunteer contributions, continuing education and other qualities that distinguish them as emerging leaders.
Professionals in the industry are encouraged to nominate individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to their careers, their communities and the continued growth of the industry. Multiple nominations are accepted and encouraged; self-nominations are not permitted. Nominations for the 2027 Coverings Rock Stars Program can be submitted via the online Coverings Rock Stars nomination form and are due Dec. 3, 2026.
Selected Rock Stars will be recognized during Coverings 2027 at the Rock Star Awards and receive industry accolades, a $200 gift card for attending Coverings, exclusive invitations to onsite events and a free pass to attend the show.
Onsite ceremonies for both the Rock Stars and CID Awards are open to all Coverings attendees, giving showgoers the chance to celebrate the professionals and projects making an impact across the industry.

All Things Aquatics Returns to Houston This September

Aquatic professionals from across the industry will gather in Houston this fall as All Things Aquatics returns to the University of Houston on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Designed as an alternative to the traditional conference format, All Things Aquatics puts the emphasis on conversation, practical learning, and building connections among professionals working throughout the aquatics industry.
The event will feature 16 aquatic professionals representing four areas of the industry. Rather than spending the entire day listening to presentations from a stage, attendees will have an opportunity to interact directly with speakers through smaller roundtable discussions.
Each featured professional will introduce themselves and their area of expertise before joining attendees for more focused conversations. The format gives participants an opportunity to ask questions, exchange experiences, discuss challenges, and connect with industry professionals in a more personal setting.
The event is geared toward a broad cross-section of the aquatics community, including facility managers, swim school operators, lifeguard trainers, parks and recreation professionals, aquatic safety specialists, and companies providing products and services to the industry.
FRIDAY – Lifeguard Night
A full evening dedicated to lifeguards: culture, readiness, rescue mindset, and the reality of what it takes to hold the line.
SATURDAY – Industry Day
Workshops, conversations, and sessions built for the other 99% of aquatics professionals — the people who run the pools, teach the lessons, manage the chaos, and keep communities safe.
In addition to attending, organizations can participate by securing one of the event’s limited speaking opportunities, sponsoring a table, or bringing team members for a day of professional development and networking.
With space limited, organizers are encouraging aquatic professionals and organizations interested in participating to secure their place early.
