Director of Development Position
The Director of Development will have the opportunity to play a significant role in shaping
the expansion of Friends of + POOL’s operations. The role will work closely with Friends of + POOL’s Managing Director and Board, spearheading annual fundraising and external relations. +POOL is looking for someone who is ready to hit the ground running; someone who can strategize collaboratively and spearhead projects independently. As a new role in an incredibly unique, innovative nonprofit, the new team member will have the opportunity to forge their own pathway, approach and strategy.
+POOL is looking for an ambitious individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, but one who is driven by a passion for the environment, public space, and all things New York City. The ideal candidate will be a curious city-lover with big ideas who is not afraid to execute with impeccable communication, organization and multitasking skills. THE ROLE WE ARE LOOKING TO FILL:
We’re seeking a Regional Sales Manager with strong sales experience and a proactive mindset. You’ll play a key role in growing our dealer and distributor network, providing solutions to customer challenges, and serving as a reliable, responsive brand ambassador. You must be organized, highly motivated, and exceptional at following up.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel regionally 3–4 days per week, including occasional overnights, to visit dealers and distributors.
- Build relationships and educate customers on the value of the product lines you represent.
- Act as a liaison between manufacturers and distributors — addressing concerns and resolving issues.
- Diligently track all sales activity using our internal CRM system, including personal notes that strengthen client rapport.
- Identify and pursue new leads within your assigned territory.
- Follow up consistently — we’re looking for someone who excels in staying connected and closing the loop.
- Attend regional trade shows, tabletop events, and team trainings.
- Support manufacturers at events and represent products with professionalism.
- Always look for ways to empower the potential of every brand you represent.

SGM – Technical Sales Representative Position (Florida)
SGM, Inc. is a global manufacturer of innovative finishes (Diamond Brite) for swimming pools, spas, and decks, as well as a leading developer of installation systems for ceramic tile and dimension stone. SGM is seeking independently motivated, highly qualified individuals to fill outside Technical Sales Representative positions in multiple Florida and regional territories.
Responsibilities and Duties
| Responsibility | Description |

| Product Knowledge | Develop and maintain expert knowledge of SGM’s product line, including pool finishes, deck coatings, and installation systems. |
| Lead Generation | Identify and generate new leads while managing and growing existing accounts. |
| Sales Presentations | Conduct product presentations, training sessions, and on-site demonstrations for customers. |
| Technical Support | Provide technical guidance and support to contractors, builders, and distributors. |
| Client Relations | Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. |
| Team Collaboration | Work with internal teams to optimize sales efforts and meet regional goals. |
| Negotiation & Closing | Negotiate pricing, prepare sales agreements, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. |
| Travel | Travel within assigned territories to build relationships and expand market presence. |
Qualifications and Skills

| Time Management | Strong time management and organizational abilities. |
| Background Check | Must pass a drug test and background check. |
